To rent an aircraft and gain access to our booking platform you must hold a current valid membership.
All new members who meet the conditions of hire and have read and accepted our full terms and agreements will be required to undertake an approximately 60-minute Check Ride with one of our pool of instructors.
Membership Includes: Access to our booking system, insurance, access to the pilots lounge and planning area.
1 Month Subscription – £250 inc. VAT one off payment by invoice
12 Month Subscription – £120 inc. VAT per month 1st April – 31st March (minimum 12 month subscription).
Reviewed annually on the 1st March, with new rates applicable from the 1st April.
A 60-minute Check Ride with one of our pool of instructors, will also be required of non-members before joining a group at a cost of £250 inc VAT.
Once the dual check has been completed satisfactorily you must remain current by flying as captain at least once every 30 days. If you have not flown for more than four weeks, a simple and brief circuit check will be required with a company Director.
All members must meet the following minimum requirements for rental.
• Have a valid membership subscription.
• Hold a current licence suitable for the type of aircraft to be flown
• Hold a current aircraft or class rating suitable for the type of aircraft to be flown
• Have a current medical appropriate for the licence held
• Complete one hours flying consisting of general handling, stalls, emergency procedures and circuits with one of our instructors on joining the club.
• Satisfactory understanding of TAFs/METARs, F214, F215, and GAMET,
• Read and acknowledge the aircraft POH,
• Use a VFR moving map with airspace alerts such as SkyDemon, or equivalent product.
PPL holders are charged from brakes off to brakes on. Flight times are recorded via CloudbaseGA.
Aircraft is to be returned in the following condition:
• Fuelled To Tabs
• Engine Oil to a minimum of 7 quarts
• Pitot Heat Cover On
• Engine Inlet Plugs Fitted
• Aileron lock attached
• Aircraft Clean & Tidy
• Aircraft Log Book Completed including engine countdown log.
Aircraft availability can be checked by our booking system, once membership is confirmed and self-hire agreement is signed.
Our prices are ‘dry rates’, this means that we take care of maintenance, while you cover the cost of fuel/additional oil.

All aircraft are limited to a maximum of six members.
All our aircraft are fully insured with Visi-Cover.
Our aircraft have full comprehensive cover for ground, taxiing and flights in the following areas:
Europe Zone 1: Covers EU member states plus Andorra, Liechtenstein, Monaco, Norway, San Marino, Switzerland, United Kingdom and Vatican City. (While not part of the UK, by convention the Isle of Man and the Channel Isles are included within the UK for the purposes of the geographical limits).
Europe Zone 2: As Zone 1 plus Albania, Armenia, Azerbaijan (excluding Ngorno-Karabakh), Belarus, Bosnia And Herzegovina, Egypt, Faroe Islands, Georgia, Iceland, Israel, Lebanon, Macedonia, Moldova, Montenegro, Morocco, Russia,(West of 60 degrees East but excluding Chechnya and Ingushetia), Serbia (excluding Kosovo), Tunisia, Turkey and Ukraine.
In addition, coverage is included under Europe Zone 1 & 2 for flying over any excluded territory, where the flight is within an internationally recognised air corridor and is performed in accordance with ICAO recommendations. However coverage is excluded for any flight into any country where such operation of aircraft is in breach of United Nations Sanctions.
Note: Liability cover is interpreted to include the insurance requirements for flying in German or Danish airspace so long as these countries are included within the geographical limits selected for the policy.
All member pilots are encouraged to familiarise themselves with the terms of the aircraft insurance policy.
